| I've found a great way to build fence. It's real simple in the fact that since I'm a woman, I'm not expected (or even allowed) to help. Dennis loaned our tractor again to one of the Amish neighbors so they could brush hog a couple of fields and then disk some deer food plots. We were planning on building fence behind the house this weekend, so Dennis asked the guys if they wouldn't mind helping him in exchange for using the tractor. Dennis and three "young folk" (ages 15-19) are outside in the 80 degree heat and all I have to do is bring them cold drinks and have lunch ready at noon. Ahhh......piece of cake!
It's also been a lot of fun watching the Amish "kids" driving the quads around. All three of them like to speed. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't come over some time to ride the quads on the trails behind the house. |

| Today while looking up the origin of brassieres (bras) I have learned that a pair of "D" cup breasts weigh between 15-23 pounds. Interesting trivia I thought. |

| The trip to Iowa went great. We had a relaxing vacation, including fishing from a small boat on the Mississippi River ! Dennis's birthday went well and we got to see lots of friends and family. Last night I planted some tomato plants now that it looks like we won't have any more freezing temps at night. I dug six small holes for the plants and as I was placing a plant in the first hole, Smokey (one of the outside cats) walked over. He squatted over the last hole and pooped in it! I guess he figured I made him his very own personal potty. |
